Hello! My name is Mike Baker, and I am the founder of Viking One 5 Media, your #1 rated Web Designer in New Braunfels TX!
I have worked with websites and digital experiences for over 20 years helping drive growth with leading Fortune 500 companies like Dell, AutoNation, Office Depot and USAA. In addition, I have performed as a freelancer since 1999 helping small and medium sized businesses develop their brand and grow their business with custom website design and search engine optimization (SEO). To date, I have helped drive growth for over 150 satisfied clients covering many industries. Our ability to build our clients beautiful websites that rank high in Google and deliver quality leads is what has helped us earn the position as the #1 rated Web Designer in New Braunfels TX.
My passion is leveraging my corporate and freelance experience to build top performing websites that help small and medium businesses grow.
I served 25 years in the United States Navy, beginning in 1992 on active duty aboard the USS Valley Forge (CG-50) and completing a WESTPAC deployment on the USS Curtis Wilbur (DDG-54). After transitioning to the Navy Reserve, I completed two tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Patrol Boat Leader with Inshore Boat Unit 15, where "Viking One Five" was my callsign. I retired in 2017 as a Senior Chief Petty Officer, concluding a career built on leadership, accountability, and service under pressure.
